The two most sought after and vital roles in any industry/company today are that of Project Managers and Product Managers. But many a times, we find the job and responsibilities of these two significantly different roles, overlapping! It is at this juncture when confusion arises.
There are many reasons that help propagate theses confusions. Right from the company culture to ineffective segregation of duties and lack of clear corporate vision are some of the important factors that provide momentum to this indistinctness between the two roles.
In my talk I would like to address the various similarities and differences between the two roles while talking about why sometimes product managers end up feeling and working like project managers. I hope with my extensive years of experience as Project Manager and Product Manager, I will be able to share some helpful insights and lessons with the audience.
