„UX Sins – designer’s social responsibility”

There are many areas of our work, when our (UX Designer’s) role is destructive for the community, environment, humans. This is something I have Steve Krug for: bringing the etos of not making people think to the design process. Focusing just on non friction and cognitive effortless processes we do not stimulate people to think and goal towards primmer instincts that drive actions. What is the future of our clients’ brains and cognitive possibilities? Maybe we should rethink our work ambitions towards more responsible thinking about humans, community, environment. Maybe user centered design processes should be pivoted towards community sustainable/responsible centered process.
