Tobias Ahlin
„The Creativity of Diverse Crowds„
We usually like the sound of our own ideas, but we’re prone to making mistakes when thinking in silo. In this talk, Tobias Ahlin examines proof of how embedding ourselves in diverse groups makes us think more creatively, but also sharpens our senses and helps us reason better. Looking back at his career designing products, he shares tools and methods for how to facilitate productive conversations, even when we’re debating those with radically different opinions of our own.
Tobias Ahlin was the experience design director at Mojang where he directed the user experience design for Minecraft. As a 21 year-old he was responsible for all of Spotify’s UI design. Today he’s a design engineer at GitHub, a jury member for the Swedish Design awards, and a frequent speaker and teacher.
